I don’t know about you, but I’m a bit of a salsa snob. I feel like I’m constantly on the search for a delicious store bought salsa… and like I’m constantly disappointed by what I find.

Which is probably why I’m so obsessed with homemade. Because… let’s face it… everything homemade is better. Including salsa. And this Pineapple Salsa is just. so. fun.

Loaded with fresh pineapple, bell pepper, tomatoes, red onion, jalapeños, and cilantro, it’s the perfect savory/sweet combination with just the right amount of spice. Perfect for dipping with tortilla chips or serving over any of your favorite tacos. And ALWAYS a party favorite!

🍍 Ingredients

One of my favorite things about this recipe is the fresh ingredient list. I love using fresh ingredients whenever possible, which is why I used a whole fresh pineapple. If necessary, canned pineapple can be used in its place.

  • 1 whole pineapple (about 4 cups diced)
  • 1 cup diced tomato
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup minced cilantro
  • 2 Tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

📋 Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips or spoon over tacos, enchiladas, or nachos.
