Creamy Eggnog Dip is the ultimate holiday dessert dip! Made with 5 ingredients – including a splash of real eggnog – it’s thick, creamy, and perfect for dipping all your holiday favorites!

When it comes to eggnog, I definitely feel like there are two distinct camps. There are those who love eggnog… and those who can’t stand it. Rarely does someone fall in the middle.
I, for one, am a person who LOVES eggnog. Not year round, of course, but especially around the holidays. And it’s not just that I love eggnog, it’s that I love all things eggnog flavored!
From Eggnog Mudslides to Eggnog Bread to Eggnog Truffles, I’m up for ALL of it. And this Creamy Eggnog Dip is no exception.
Made with just 5 ingredients, it comes together in minutes and makes the perfect last minute holiday dessert! We love using cinnamon sugar pita chips as dippers, but we’ve also used vanilla wafers, gingersnaps, or graham crackers.

what you’ll need for this recipe
Cream Cheese – Cream cheese is the base ingredient in this dip, giving it a deliciously creamy texture and also toning down the potential sweetness from the powdered sugar.
Powdered Sugar – Powdered sugar adds sweetness to the dip, which is a necessary element of anything eggnog flavored. I like using powdered instead of granulated sugar since it blends in seamlessly without any graininess.
Eggnog – Eggnog adds moisture to the dip and keeps it from being too thick. Substitute milk, half & half or heavy cream.
Nutmeg – Nutmeg is a key flavor in eggnog. I used 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
Rum extract – Rum is another key flavor in eggnog, and using extract gives this dip eggnog flavor without using real rum.
