Deliciously flavorful Soy Ginger Salmon – baked to perfection in sweet & savory soy ginger glaze. Enjoy it over rice, noodles, or our favorite Asian Cabbage Slaw!
When it comes to fish, I’m a salmon lover through and through. Not only because it’s SO good for you… but because it’s SO hearty! And flavorful… and insanely versatile!
It’s delicious in everything from Salmon Tacos to Salmon Patties to Blackened Salmon… and this Soy Ginger Salmon is a whole new twist. Seasoned with fresh ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and honey, it’s the perfect combination of savory and sweet… and so very easy to make.
We love it with our Asian Cucumber Salad or a side of Sesame Broccoli, and it’s always delicious over rice or soba noodles. Personally, I’ve been dreaming of adding it my next Sushi Bowl… which might be my new favorite way to enjoy it!

how to make soy ginger salmon
Make the sauce. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, olive oil, ginger, garlic, honey, and lime juice.
Season the salmon & bake. Place the salmon portions skin side down in a baking dish. Pour the sauce over the salmon and bake for 400°F 15-20 minutes, until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°.
Garnish. Remove from oven. Spoon sauce over the salmon and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
Recipe Variations
- Substitute brown sugar for the honey
