This 3-ingredient mocktail combines the citrusy flavors of orange and lime with a sweet honey simple syrup in a non-alcoholic drink everyone can enjoy!
Have you ever noticed how so many of our get togethers are centered around eating and drinking? It seems to be the common bond that unites us all… and I’m definitely not complaining.
But one thing that seems to be lacking at most parties and gatherings I’ve been to recently is good non-alcoholic drink options. And the same goes when I’m hosting! I tend to have a stocked bar, plenty of beer and wine, and maybe even a signature sangria available… but when it comes to N/A options, water and soda are usually it.
So I guess you could say I’m on a mission of sorts to change that. And what better way to start than with this Bee’s Kiss Mocktail!? It’s a delicious combination of orange juice, lime juice, and honey simple syrup with an optional splash of seltzer to finish. It’s simple, fun, and definitely a drink to be enjoyed by all.
what you’ll need for this recipe
Orange juice – I used orange juice as the base of this recipe. Orange juice is easy to find (you may even have it on hand) and makes a delicious base for any drink recipe. You can feel free to use any variety of orange juice or an orange juice blend, such as orange-pineapple, orange-mango, or a tropical blend. You can also substitute another type of juice, such as pineapple or mango.
Lime juice – Lime juice adds an extra splash of flavor and tartness to this recipe. I used 1 Tablespoon of fresh squeezed lime juice. Feel free to use bottled juice instead, and adjust the amount according to your tastes.
Honey simple syrup – Finally, I used homemade honey simple syrup to add complexity and sweetness to this recipe. (See below for instructions!)
How to Make Honey Simple Syrup
To make honey simple syrup, simply combine equal parts honey and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to combine, then remove from heat and set aside to cool.
