This snack mix is loaded with Goldfish crackers, pretzels, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, dried cranberries, shredded coconut and more. An easy, grab by the handful snack mix that’s perfect for kids OR adults!
There’s something about a good snack mix that’s just so fun. It’s fun to make, fun to eat, and always WAY more fun than the sum of its parts.
I can remember all the way back in grade school, making up different snack mixes with my friends. And there was one in particular we always came back to. We called it “Bohemian Party Mix” and when I say it had everything… it literally did. From chocolate to peanut butter to potato chips and pretzels, it was everything you could want in a party mix. And then some.
Well… this Goldfish Snack Mix isn’t QUITE as loaded as the Bohemian Party Mix from my childhood… but it’s equally delicious (and a whole lot less messy!) Made with just 8 ingredients and ready in just 5 minutes, it’s everything you’re looking for in your new favorite snack!
what you’ll need for this recipe
Goldfish Crackers – Goldfish crackers are the main ingredient in this snack mix. I used 4 cups, but you can use more or less according to your tastes.
Pretzel Crisps – I also added 1 cup of salted Pretzel Crisps, broken into pieces. Mini Pretzel Crisps would be perfect in this recipe!
Chocolate chunks – 1/3 cup of chocolate chunks helps balance out the saltiness. Feel free to substitute chocolate chips or chopped Hershey bars depending on what you have on hand.
Peanut butter chips – I also added 1/3 cup of peanut butter chips for delicious peanut butter flavor.
White chocolate chips – 1/3 cup of white chocolate chips adds extra sweetness to the mix/
Cocoa almonds – 1/3 cup of cocoa dusted almonds is a fun, crunchy addition that also adds some protein to the mix. Feel free to substitute raw or salted almonds OR peanuts.
Dried cranberries – I used 1/3 cup of dried cranberries (Craisins) for yet another texture and flavor.
Shredded coconut – Finally, 1/3 cup of shredded, sweetened coconut is the perfect finishing touch!
