Homemade Greek Seasoning is easy to make and adds so much flavor to all your favorite Greek recipes. A delicious combination of dried spices with the perfect hint of salt… and so much more flavorful than store bought blends!

Around here, we LOVE all things Greek. From souvlaki to gyros to spanokopita to tzatziki… it’s fresh and it’s flavorful and it’s one of our go-to choices for weekly dinners.
Of course, we love all the flavor-packed ingredients… like extra virgin olive oil, feta cheese, kalamata olives, and fresh lemon juice… but the one thing that truly makes all the difference is the combination of herbs and spices that are used to season it.
It’s a blend that’s easy to make, easy to adjust according to your own individual tastes, and SO easy to use. Since I added salt to it, it’s literally a sprinkle and go type of seasoning blend.
We love using it on chicken, on salads, in dips and soups, in casseroles, on pizza… you name it, and it’s delicious. Of course you can always buy store bought, but when it’s this easy to make… why would you want to?

what you’ll need for this recipe
Greek spices – I used a combination of dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, onion flakes, dried parsley, dried dill, dried rosemary, dried marjoram, and dried thyme
Salt & pepper – I added kosher salt & pepper (because salt & pepper are always a good addition!)
