Greek Seasoning

Homemade Greek Seasoning is easy to make and adds so much flavor to all your favorite Greek recipes. A delicious combination of dried spices with the perfect hint of salt... and so much more flavorful than store bought blends!

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion flakes
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl; mix well.
  • Store in a small glass container in a cool, dry place.

Notes

Recipe Variations

  • Add cinnamon or nutmeg for a more complex flavor
  • Adjust ingredient amounts to taste
  • Omit any of the spices
  • Add dried lemon peel
  • Make a salt-free blend by omitting the salt
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to make it spicy
