what you’ll need for this recipe
Mayo – I used 2 1/2 Tablespoons of mayo as the base of this recipe. I used Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise, which is what I usually keep in my fridge, but you can feel free to use whatever variety or brand you prefer.
Mustard – I added 2 Tablespoons of dijon mustard because I prefer the flavor of dijon to yellow. BUT using yellow mustard will give you a color that’s more similar to “real” Chick-fil-A Sauce. I’ve made it both ways, and both are delicious!
BBQ Sauce – For smokiness I added 1 1/2 Tablespoons of BBQ Sauce. I used Sweet Baby Ray’s Original, which was in my fridge, but feel free to experiment with different varieties as each different type will give this sauce a slightly different flavor.
Honey – I added 1 1/2 Tablespoons of honey to sweeten things up. Feel free to adjust the amount depending on the BBQ sauce you use, as well as your own personal preferences.
