Mimosas are a brunch time favorite… and this apple cider version is such a delicious twist! Made with just 3 simple ingredients, it’s sweet, refreshing, and perfect for fall!
Can we all agree on one thing? A brunch is just not a brunch without a mimosa. There’s something about the combination of orange juice and champagne that makes any brunch that much more delicious… and this apple version is equally amazing!
Made with just 3 ingredients, it’s a sweet fall twist that’s packed with apple flavor. Because let’s face it… not everyone loves orange juice… and even if you do, sometimes you just need to mix things up.
This Apple Mimosa is a fun and easy way to do just that. It’s perfect for brunch or any time of day… and it couldn’t be easier to make. Just chill your ingredients (this is key), pour, and garnish. A foolproof recipe that’s guaranteed to take your brunch game to the next level!
Ingredients
Champagne – Any type of dry (Brut) champagne will work well for this recipe. OR if you like your drinks a little sweeter, feel free to use your favorite type of champagne.
Apple juice – My favorite juice to use for apple cocktails is unfiltered apple juice. You can substitute apple cider or anything you have on hand.
Apple liqueur – There are a few different types of apple liqueur available at most liquor stores.
How to make an Apple Cider Mimosa
Start with chilled ingredients – Since mimosas are made without ice, it’s important to start with chilled ingredients. I would suggest refrigerating the champagne and juice for at least 4 hours, or better yet, overnight.
Combine the apple juice & apple liqueur – In a champagne flute, combine the apple liqueur and chilled apple juice.
Top with champagne – Add chilled champagne to fill the glass.
Garnish & enjoy – Garnish with a thin apple slice and enjoy!
