White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Bark is a delicious 5 minute holiday treat! A classic flavor combination in a crispy bark that’s perfect for holiday gifting!
What is it about white chocolate? There’s something about it that I just love. I love it on its own, in cookies & cream, with peanut butter, as a drizzle… I love it pretty much any way you can imagine it, and I’m bound and determined to share my love of it with all of you!
If I had to guess, I think it has something to do with its sweetness. Because the way I love it best is with something salty. Whether it’s pretzels, peanuts, or potato chips, I just love the contrast of something extra salty with something extra sweet. And white chocolate kicks it up a notch!
Which is why I couldn’t resist adding sea salt to this White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Bark. The end result is something smooth, creamy, crunchy, crispy, salty, and sweet. In a way milk chocolate never could be.
Not only is it perfect for holiday gifting, but it would make an amazing addition to any holiday cookie tray!
what you’ll need for this recipe
White chocolate – I started with 16 ounces white chocolate. I used Vanilla Candiquik because it always melts well, but you can use any type of white chocolate.
Rice Krispies – Rice Krispies give the bark a nice, light, crispy crunch. I used 1 cup.
Macadamia nuts – I added 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts for extra flavor and texture. Macadamia nuts are commonly paired with white chocolate and cranberries and are the perfect addition to this bark. They can be found in the baking aisle.
Dried cranberries – I added 1/2 cup dried cranberries. Feel free to use Craisins or any dried cranberries you prefer.
Kosher or sea salt – I finished it off with a sprinkle of sea salt (1/4 teaspoon) to balance out the sweetness of the white chocolate.
