Ruby Red Rosemary Cocktail is a refreshing drink that makes a surprising addition to your fall table. Ruby red grapefruit juice with a splash of lemon and lime and a sweet rosemary simple syrup – a sweet & tangy cocktail that’s perfect for the cold months ahead!
November. It’s the time of year I wish I could just press pause. Not only because of the weather, and the impending tundra-like conditions we will experience December – March, and not only because I love fall and want to hold on to it as long as possible…..but because it’s always right around this time of year that holiday stress starts to creep in.
Now, I’m not someone who goes overboard for the holidays. In fact, I never even decorated my house for Halloween (the shame!!) But I do have the clear sense every November that it’s time to get my tail in gear! With holiday baking and gift shopping and menu planning and Christmas cards (!)….and possibly even some decorating if I can bring myself to do it…..
The truth is I haven’t felt quite ready to jump head first into the holiday season….at least not yet….because I know that once I do, there’s no turning back. Instead, I’ve been slowly preparing myself for it, one recipe at a time. This ruby red rosemary cocktail is my first (unofficial) holiday post. You can expect more from me soon, but for now, let’s press pause and enjoy a cocktail!
Ruby Red Rosemary Cocktail – Delicious!
What I love about this one is the interesting balance of flavors. This ruby red rosemary cocktail is sweet and tart and piney all at once, and it’s like nothing I’ve ever tasted before – In a delicious way! I love the fact it’s simple to make but feels fancy……and I love the fact that the colors are perfectly gorgeous for fall! I don’t know about you, but I can definitely see this on my Thanksgiving table. As for the other recipes, they’ll come in time…..but this is a good start, don’t you think? Cheers!

What a gorgeous cocktail Cathy!! I would love to push pause as well, I am so not ready for winter this year. Maybe I should just keep drinking these cocktails all winter long! 😉
