This 5-ingredient Pear Sangria is easy to make and perfectly refreshing for fall!
This may come as a surprise to you.....but I love me some wine! Ha - no real surprise, I guess....this is only the 9th sangria recipe I've shared with you..... What can I say? When you're passionate about something, you might as well share it, right??
There's just something about sitting down with a glass of wine that is so relaxing. I love sharing it with friends or enjoying a glass after the kids go to bed....and along with it, I love taking a moment to relax, unwind, and just be. Of course, it never hurts if my "me time" can also be delicious.....!
My favorite way to drink wine is straight up (haha) but I also really enjoy mixing up a delicious sangria! I love that the possibilities are endless, and that you can change things up completely just by adding different flavors. Perfect for the changing seasons! Last fall I shared my Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria with you and this year I thought I'd mix it up with pears! (And I'm so happy I did!!)
Have you ever read the label on a bottle of Riesling.....and noticed the "notes of pear" that are constantly being mentioned? Well, this sangria starts with Riesling, highlights those pear notes, adds a little extra kick, and ends on a note of delicious!! Just the way sangria should!

- 1 bottle white wine
- ¾ cup pear juice, I used R.W. Knudsen brand
- ⅓ cup brandy
- ¼ cup simple syrup
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
- Mix all ingredients in a medium pitcher; cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- *Sangria tastes best after 1-2 days!
