This Robins Egg Dip is smooth and creamy and with just 4 ingredients, it will be the perfect sweet treat! This quick dessert is a great last minute addition to your Easter menu, and a great way to use up your leftover candy!
Have you ever been to an Easter Egg Hunt? You know….the kind put on by parks or libraries or community centers? I’ve been seeing signs for them all over the place, and every time I pass one, I have to admit I’m struck by a sense that maybe we should be going!
After all, the girls are at perfect ages to really hunt for eggs. Ellia and Greta would find them ALL….and Nora, who would be the most excited of anyone, has never even been to one. (Oops!)
I honestly sometimes think we used up our “fun extra stuff” energy on the first two. We took them to play zones and jumping places and pumpkin farms and petting zoos….and we took them to Easter Egg Hunts. With dozens of other kids, all vying for the same few plastic eggs. Fun times, my friends…..fun times.
I have to admit, I don’t totally miss those times. Particularly, the Easter Egg Hunts. Because they’re never all that they’re cracked up to be. (No pun intended.) I’d much rather do our own hunt…(or let the grandparents do one for us). Ha!
Robins Egg Dip – Dessert Dip
These days, I’m not as much the mom who feels the need to do every last “fun” thing. No, I’m more the mom who makes fun dips and lets my kids enjoy them…..and this Robins Egg Dip is most definitely enjoyable. Made with a delicious mixture of cream cheese, powdered sugar, malt powder, and Robins Eggs, it’s a kid’s dream. And if you like Robins Eggs, you might as well just grab a spoon so you can dig right in!
If you’re anything like me, a big bowl of dip sounds WAY better than an Easter Egg Hunt. Now, maybe you’ll do both….but I’m telling you – if you skip one, let it be the hunt! You need this dip in your life. And everyone will love you for it.

I’ve never been to an egg hunt before since I don’t have kids, but my neighborhood throws one every year at the park by my house. Looks like a lot of fun! This dip looks incredible, Cathy! I think I would keep this all to myself!

I used up all my energy on the first one! The second one, well, at least I get her dressed in the morning. ;-)))
But, uhm, I WANT THIS DIP! I’ll take the bowl and a spoon, and live a very happy few minutes!

This is absolutely beautiful!! Loving these pics Cathy! I totally know what you mean about using up the fun stuff with the first two kids! I have a 6 year gap between my kids so I’m either making my 9 and 11 year old do silly little kid activities or I’m toting along a 2 and 1 year old to older kid activities. Either way.. someone is missing out! Maybe this dip will make them all forget about it 🙂

We always keep is low key with the kids. I am definitely all for doing something at home then going out and trying to fight the masses. What fun is that? And this dip! Yes please! Now I need to go buy some robins eggs!
