So annoying that I was ready to just forget about the bag and move on with our day…. but being the good sister she is, Greta thought we should really take it to school so Ellia wouldn’t have to stand against the wall at recess. Again. Because in the bag were her boots! And her snow pants!!
And since that part of it is clearly not her fault….and since it’s been a bit of a struggle to get Ellia out the door at all these past few days…..we decided to put on our coats and get in the car and drive the bag to school. Just like that.
And then we came home and made ourselves a tall glass of summer, in the form of a deliciously refreshing mango-berry smoothie. Because we wanted to. Because we needed to. Because we deserved to! And because this weather is ridiculous…..and from now on, we’re not going to wait around for what we want. We’re just going to make it ourselves.
Warm weather (in a glass)…..coming right up! Who knew it was that easy?? Tropical fruit smoothie recipes like this mango-berry smoothie recipe or a pineapple-peach smoothie can transport you instantly to warmer weather.
