This Chocolate Strawberry Martini  is made with just three delicious ingredients and perfect for a celebration! Rich and creamy, this cocktail will shower anyone with love!

The BEST Chocolate Strawberry Martini, made with just three delicious ingredients and perfect for a celebration!

Every now and then I get a glimpse of what my girls are going to be like as teenagers. And it terrifies me! Not just because I have a {tiny} sense of what they're going dish out....but because I have a decent sense of how I'm going to handle it. (Not so well!!!) Those of you with girls.....can you relate??

Between the pressure Ellia puts on herself and the persistent feeling of unfairness Greta carries with her and the sheer lack of regard Nora has....(just the tip of the iceberg for each of them)....I can tell I'm going to be in for it. Heck - I feel like I'm already in for it most days! And our oldest is only nine!

To be fair, my feelings at the moment might have something to do with the day I had yesterday. Nora invited her BFF Quinn over, and let's just say the day ended with my realization that, despite my greatest efforts, I continue to be completely unable to control them when they're together. And they like to be.....naughty!

We're not talking anything crazy. Just normal 4 year old shenanigans. It's just that the shenanigans DON'T. EVER. STOP! Which is exactly why, when Lisa came to collect Quinn at the end of the day, I felt the need to offer her a Chocolate Strawberry Martini. And she felt the need to suggest that we might want to consider ending Nora and Quinn's friendship BEFORE they become teenagers. I couldn't agree more.

Lucky for both of us, there are martinis. And there are fun glasses to drink them from, like these Wooden Martini Glasses from Uncommon Goods! Not only are they gorgeous, and lightweight, and better at keeping drinks cold....but since they're made from wood, they don't shatter at the first bump. Which is an essential characteristic when you're surrounded by shenanigan-loving kids. This set of two glasses would make a perfect Valentine's Day gift - for a spouse, for a friend, or even for yourself! Because martinis are always necessary, and these Chocolate Strawberry Martinis were MADE for Valentine's Day. Be sure to check out Uncommon Goods' entire line Valentine's Day Gifts, and while you're at it, check out their Anniversary Gifts and Gifts for Kids. I have no doubt you'll love everything they have to offer!

Ha! Seriously. Nathan is planning on telling Quinn there has been an apocalypse and locking her in the basement at 13.

This cocktail looks delicious! Perfect for indulging around Valentine's Day for certain! Trust me my friend, I feel your pain with regards to having girls! Sydney, my youngest is most definitely my wild child. She seems fearless most times and is absolutely comfortable leaving my side. Riley on the other hand is a little more needy but also puts an insane amount of pressure on herself regarding sports, academics and socially. Last week I actually uttered to myself, "I don't think I'm going to survive adolescence". Riley heard and responded, "well mom, you're going to have to because I need you." It definitely pulled at my heartstrings. I think girls these days have to face so much more pressure than we did. That's why I think these cocktails are perfect for mom!

I want to hang out with you if this is what you serve your friends on play day! Yum-o! I had teenage boys. I would rather have the moody swings of girls than the sometimes destructive behavior of boys. Good Luck!

My very favorite Soapstone Pizza Pan is from Uncommon Goods. I want to buy everything on their site! These glasses are awesome. The martini recipe looks to die for, too. I am totally going to try these!

I saw these in a Martini round-up that my cherritini was part of and I just had to come over and comment, firstly because chocolate and strawberry!!!! YUM!!! Secondly because I love the wooden martini glasses! So cool!!

Then I read the post and I could relate in a very different way. I have two boys and I once had to break up an actual physical fight. Over who was better friends with a girl!!! Seriously they were 7 and 4 at the time!!!!! I saw their teenage years flashing before my eyes!

Loving this!!! And the friendship you and Lisa share! Chocolate martinis can solve anything!!!!!
