This viral Dumpling Bake lives up to the hype! Made with frozen potstickers, savory coconut curry sauce, and crunchy chili crisp, this dump and bake recipe is as easy as it is delicious!

Have you ever been scrolling social media and suddenly run across an idea you couldn’t get out of your head? Well… this Dumpling Bake is exactly that.
For months now, I’ve been seeing dumpling recipes in various forms, from Blanket Dumplings to Dumpling Soup to Dumpling Casseroles. And every time I see one, I find myself craving dumplings!
So I figured it was probably time for me to jump on the bandwagon and see what the hype is all about. And let me just say… this viral-inspired Coconut Curry Dumpling Bake does NOT disappoint!
Made with frozen potstickers, coconut milk, red curry paste, and chili crisp… it’s as easy as dumping the ingredients in a pan, baking to bubbly perfection, garnishing, and devouring.
The first time I made it, my kids absolutely loved it. And when I made changes to it the second time around, they loved it even more. It’s hearty, comforting, and anything but boring. DEFINITELY worth the hype.

what you’ll need for this recipe
Frozen dumplings – I used 1 bag of frozen potstickers, which you can find at most grocery stores in the frozen food aisles. I used chicken and vegetable dumplings, but feel free to substitute pork, vegetable, or any variety.
Coconut milk – Coconut milk is the main ingredient in the sauce, and I used 1 can full fat coconut milk. For a lighter sauce, use reduced fat.
Red curry paste – Red curry paste pairs perfectly with the coconut milk and adds delicious curry flavor to the sauce. I used 3 Tablespoons red curry paste, but you can use more or less to taste.
Soy sauce – Soy sauce adds salty, savory, umami flavor and helps balance out the sweetness of the coconut milk. I used 1/3 cup soy sauce, but again, use more or less to taste.
Rice vinegar – Rice vinegar adds tanginess to the sauce and helps cut the heavy creaminess of the coconut milk. I used 1 Tablespoon rice vinegar, but feel free to add another tablespoon for slightly more acidity.
Honey – 1 teaspoon of honey adds a touch of sweetness to the sauce, helping to balance out the other flavors.
Sesame oil – Sesame oil adds delicious depth of flavor, and a little bit goes a long way. I used 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
Garlic & ginger – Fresh garlic and ginger add delicious aromatic flavor to the sauce. I used 2 cloves garlic and 1 teaspoon fresh ginger.
Chili crisp – I added crunchy chili crisp to the sauce and used some as garnish, as well.
