Wedge Salad Dip has all the flavors of a wedge salad in a delicious and easy dip recipe that’s perfect for game day!
I partnered with Food Should Taste Good to bring you this delicious recipe. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Lemon Tree Dwelling possible! So…the SUPER BOWL!! It’s less than a week away! Are you getting ready? I have to admit, since the Packers aren’t in it, I’m not totally interested. In the game, that is. The food? Well, that’s another story.
A better story, actually! I mean – not caring about the game is probably best case scenario! It gives me more time to focus on what we’ll be eating. Which, of course, includes this delicious wedge salad dip.
If you’ve been around for a while, you know that I love to turn my favorite salads and sandwiches into dips. I’ve made Cobb Dip and BLT Dip and Mediterranean Salsa, which is basically a Greek salad you can eat with chips. And as much as I love them all, I have to say….this one might be my favorite!
Wedge Salad Dip – A delicious dip!
Wedge salad dip starts with a creamy ranch base, and is loaded with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, and chives. Did I mention BACON!? Yep, it’s pretty much the perfect blend of ingredients. And it has veggies….so it’s at least a little bit good for you, right??
Best of all, when you pair it with the right chips, it’s almost like a mini meal. And, if you ask me, the BEST kind of meal! We love Food Should Taste Good™ Tortilla Chips, and since this dip is already loaded with so many different flavors, we paired it with their Multigrain Tortilla Chips (but the flavor options are endless). Not only are they super crunchy and sturdy enough for dipping, but you can just taste the fact that they’re made with ingredients you can feel good about.
All Food Should Taste Good Tortilla Chips are gluten free, cholesterol free, and have zero grams trans fats. They are also certified Kosher and many varieties are certified vegan. You can find them nationwide at grocery stores and natural food markets. To find out more, visit the Food Should Taste Good™ website or find them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest!

I like to try this dip but do not like feta cheese what other cheese can l use and do not like blue cheese
Trish Diachenko says
Try cotija cheese–it looks and acts like feta but is very mild in flavor!!
Shirley says
Can you make this ahead of time?
Cathy Trochelman says
Depending on how far in advance, I would suggest to make the bottom layer, and prep the veggies but keep them separate until you are ready to serve, then just top it with the veggies, bacon and cheese.
Sara @ Biscuits & Burlap says
Yum! This sounds like a crowd-pleaser… definitely pinning!
Lauren says
I made this yesterday for a 4th of July party and it was amazing! I even used reduced fat cream cheese. Thank you for sharing!

Have you made it ahead of time? How does it hold up? Looks yummy!
Cathy Trochelman says
You can definitely make the base in advance and prepare the toppings in advance, then just assemble it right before serving!
Tiffany says
what about feta instead of blue cheese?
Cathy Trochelman says
You can use any cheese you prefer! A traditional wedge salad uses blue cheese, but feta would be delicious too! 🙂
Tiffany says
great, thanks so much. looks yummy!
Jess Medlin says
Isn’t it hard to scoop up the spread on the bottom layer with all the toppings on top of it?
Cathy Trochelman says
Hi Jess, it’s a lot like taco dip. I would definitely not say it’s hard to eat!
Cindy says
This was very good.
Cathy Trochelman says
So glad you enjoyed it!
Shelley Salas says
Is that 8oz or 16oz packet of ranch
lynn says
In the recipe you say to use the dip then later you say to use the dressing mix. Which is it as Im sure it matters
Carol nabors says
In the video it shows that the salad dressing and seasoning pack were used not the dip and I think it just comes in the 16 ounce size.
Shelley says
Is that 8oz or 16oz packet of ranch let me know please wanna make it

Candi says
What other kind of cheese can one use, if not a fan of blue cheese?
Cathy Trochelman says
I would suggest shredded mozzarella, crumbled goat, or a shaved parmesan.
Julie says
Made this dip twice now and it is always a hit, everyone loves it!!
Lisa says
I’m confused after reading some of the comments. Do you use dry ranch mix or the bottled dressing?
Thanks!
Lisa
Cathy Trochelman says
I used dry ranch dressing mix in the recipe.
Gina says
I love this dip idea. I’m going to try it this weekend for a Christmas party, but will use cheddar cheese instead if blue cheese. Another time I might try using the following Italian dressing seasoning instead of ranch, pepperoni and salami instead of bacon, and cut up mozzarella balls instead of blue cheese. Thank you for the amazing dip idea!
Kim says

Do you really use 11 oz of the dry Ranch Dressing Mix? I have the 20 oz jar of the mix so trying to decide how much of that to use.
Cathy Trochelman says
No, I used one 1 ounce package.
