The holidays are just around the corner, which can only mean one thing: time to bring on the holiday gift baskets!

We love arranging gift baskets this time of year because they’re easy to put together, they’re fun to give, and the possibilities for them are endless. And this popcorn-themed basket is one of our favorites!

Everyone loves popcorn… and when it’s Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP, even better. Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP is our favorite popcorn, and we especially appreciate the fact that it’s made with whole grains and real ingredients. It’s a gift we always feel great about giving!

Best of all, you can find everything you need to make this basket at Walmart using Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup. You can order all your items online, drive over, and pick them up without any hassle. Christmas shopping just got SO much better… am I right!?

To assemble a gift basket:

  1. Start with a basket that’s just large enough to fit all your items. You don’t want a lot of extra space.
  2. Arrange items in the basket, starting with taller and/or heavier items in the back. Angle the items toward the center of the basket and work your way toward the front.
  3. Leave the smallest items for the end, and place them right in the front of the basket.
  4. Tuck tissue paper into openings.
  5. Decorate basket with garland or other decorations as desired.

Other variations:

  • Add a bottle of sparkling grape juice or champagne
  • Add pop-themed candies
  • Add items that pop, such as balloons or bubbles
  • Give a smaller version by attaching a microwave popcorn bag to a pop socket with a bow on top

Instructions

  • Place empty basket on a firm surface.
  • Arrange items in the basket, starting with taller and/or heavier items in the back. Angle the items toward the center of the basket and work your way toward the front.
  • Leave the smallest items for the end, and place them right in the front of the basket.
  • Tuck tissue paper into openings.
  • Decorate basket with garland or other decorations as desired.
