Wedge Salad Dip has all the flavors of a wedge salad in a delicious dip that’s perfect for game day!
So…the SUPER BOWL!! It’s less than a week away! Are you getting ready? I have to admit, since the Packers aren’t in it, I’m not totally interested. In the game, that is. The food? Well, that’s another story.
A better story, actually! I mean – not caring about the game is probably best case scenario! It gives me more time to focus on what we’ll be eating. Which, of course, includes this delicious wedge salad dip.
If you’ve been around for a while, you know that I love to turn my favorite salads and sandwiches into dips. I’ve made Cobb Dip and BLT Dip and Mediterranean Salsa, which is basically a Greek salad you can eat with chips. And as much as I love them all, I have to say….this one might be my favorite!
It starts with a creamy ranch base, and is loaded with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon, and chives. Did I mention BACON!? Yep, it’s pretty much the perfect blend of ingredients. And it has veggies….so it’s at least a little bit good for you, right??
Best of all, when you pair it with the right chips, it’s almost like a mini meal. And, if you ask me, the BEST kind of meal! We love Food Should Taste Good™ Tortilla Chips, and since this dip is already loaded with so many different flavors, we paired it with their Multigrain Tortilla Chips (but the flavor options are endless). - 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 package Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1½ c. chopped romaine lettuce
- ½ c. chopped tomatoes
- ½ c. chopped cooked bacon
- 2-4 oz. crumbled blue cheese (according to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
- Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and Ranch Dip mix and mix until smooth.
- Spread into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate or other similarly sized pan.
- Top with lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, blue cheese, and chives.
- Enjoy with your favorite Food Should Taste Good Tortilla Chips!
