Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

Instructions

  • Combine water, sugar, and shredded coconut in a small saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, stir until sugar dissolves completely.
  • Remove from heat, add fresh lime juice, and set aside to cool.
  • Once cool, strain simple syrup through a fine strainer to remove shredded coconut.
  • Store or use immediately.
