Whipped Feta Dip

If you like feta, this dip is for you! Tangy feta cheese whipped to perfection and seasoned with a simple combination of fresh garlic and lemon juice. This dip is delicious on its own or topped with homemade olive tapenade!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces feta cheese room temperature
  • 4 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt or to taste

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine feta cheese, cream cheese, and Greek yogurt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Add olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Blend until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
  • Serve with pita chips, bread, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

Recipe Variations

  • Substitute reduced fat Neufchatel cheese for full fat cream cheese
  • Use sour cream instead of Greek yogurt
  • Use your favorite flavored cream cheese for extra flavor
  • Add additional seasonings, such as onion powder, cayenne pepper, or red pepper flakes
  • Add your favorite fresh herbs like basil or oregano
  • Top it with sun dried tomato pesto instead of tapenade
