Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup dried strawberries

Instructions

Puppy Chow

  • Combine white chocolate chips, strawberry jam, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stopping to stir, until completely melted.
  • Pour melted chocolate mixture over the cereal in a brown paper grocery bag OR large ziploc bag. Shake to coat.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar over the chocolate coated cereal and shake to coat.
  • Garnish with additional white chocolate chips and dried strawberries.

Dried Strawberries

  • Pre-heat oven to 250° F.
  • Slice strawberries thinly and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake in 1/2 hour increments, rotating pan every 30 minutes, for 2 or more hours. Flip strawberries after 1 hour. Strawberries should be dry, no longer moist, when done.

Notes

Store puppy chow in a resealable plastic bag or other airtight container at room temperature.
