Garlic Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt whole milk
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 cloves garlic large, minced
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 Tablespoon herbs I used mint and dill

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and salt. Mix well. Stir in fresh herbs (optional.)
  2. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh herbs.

Notes

Recipe Variations

  • Use any variety of plain yogurt (I used whole milk Greek)
  • Add additional seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, dried dill, etc.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
  • Add any of your favorite fresh herbs
  • Add extra minced garlic to taste
  • Substitute flavored olive oil
