  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.

Notes

Recipe variations

  • Substitute orange juice or pineapple juice for the lemon  juice
  • Add 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract or almond extract
  • Use brown sugar in place of granulated sugar for a caramel flavor (this would be especially delicious with apples)
  • For a thinner consistency, use 1 cup regular (not Greek)
  • Use vanilla yogurt or another flavor of yogurt and omit (or reduce) the sugar
  • Add orange or lemon zest for extra flavor
  • Use marshmallow creme in place of Greek yogurt + sugar
