Ingredients

cup
unsalted butter
8
ounces
shredded cheese
1
cup
sour cream
2
cups
all purpose flour
1
Tablespoon
baking powder
1
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Remove from heat; stir in cheese. Let stand 2-3 minutes.
Add sour cream, flour, baking powder, and salt and stir until combined.
Drop into 24 lightly greased muffin cups.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Recipe Variations
Use any variety of shredded cheese
Add chopped onions or jalapeños
Add cooked, chopped bacon and maple syrup
Top them with everything bagel seasoning before baking
Add fresh minced herbs
Use half whole wheat flour, half all purpose flour
