Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Mix together with a spoon, fork or whisk.
  • Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for later.

Notes

Recipe Variations

  • Use any type of fresh herbs in place of dill OR use a combination of herbs
  • Make it extra lemony with additional lemon juice
  • Add lemon zest for an extra pop of flavor
  • Use fresh garlic (1-2 cloves minced) instead of garlic powder
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Add minced chives or green onions
  • Substitute dried dill for fresh
  • Add half & half or milk to thin it out
