Chocolate Peppermint Blossoms

These Chocolate Peppermint Blossom Cookies are loaded with rich chocolate and peppermint and topped with a Candy Cane-flavored Hershey's Kiss. The perfect holiday cookies for mint (and chocolate) lovers everywhere!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 36 Hershey's Kisses

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients (except powdered sugar and Hershey's Kisses) in a large mixing bowl and blend well.
  • Chill 1 hour or more.
  • Roll chilled dough into 1 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
  • Bake on parchment-lined baking sheet at 300 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and immediately place Hershey's Kiss in the center of each, pressing down slightly.
  • Cool completely on a wire rack.
