Chicken Nacho Wonton Cups

The ULTIMATE party appetizer! These Chicken Nacho Wonton Cups are loaded with shredded chicken, black beans, two types of cheese, and all your favorite toppings for a delicious appetizer that puts a whole new spin on nachos!

Ingredients

  • 12 Twin Dragon Wonton Wrappers
  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 Tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/3 cup black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup queso sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1/3 cup tomato finely chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon cilantro minced
  • 2 Tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 jalapeño thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Spray a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray, then press one wonton wrapper into each cup. Bake at 350°F for 7-8 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken and taco seasoning, stirring to coat.
  • Drain and rinse the beans and set aside.
  • Chop the tomato and cilantro; slice the jalapeño.
  • Layer the ingredients in the pre-baked wonton cups, starting with the seasoned chicken, the black beans, the queso sauce, and the shredded cheese. Bake at 350° for an additional 7-8 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream, and sliced jalapeños.
