Chicken Caesar Salad Dip

All the flavors of your favorite salad in a deliciously creamy dip! This Chicken Caesar Salad Dip is packed with fresh ingredients and especially delicious with homemade crostini!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperatpure
  • 1 cup caesar dressing I used homemade
  • 12.5 ounces chicken breast canned, drained. OR 3/4 - 1 cup shredded chicken breast.
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 4 ounces Parmesan cheese finely shredded
  • 2 Tablespoons panko breadcrumbs toasted
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper fresh

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and caesar dressing and blend, using a hand mixer, until smooth. Add the chicken breast and blend with the mixer OR shred the chicken and stir it in by hand.
  • Spread the base into a shallow dish. Top with chopped romaine and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Garnish with toasted breadcrumbs and fresh cracked pepper to taste.

Notes

Recipe Variations

  • Use store bought caesar dressing as a time saver
  • Substitute shredded chicken breast or rotisserie chicken
  • Use any type of lettuce in place of romaine
  • Add croutons or crouton pieces in place of breadcrumbs
  • Add chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, or cucumbers
  • Add capers for an extra flavor kick
  • Add chopped sun dried tomatoes
  • Top with Parmesan Crisps or use them as a dipper
  • Use as a dip for crostini, crackers, pretzels, or any of your favorite veggies

Storage Tips

Leftover dip can be stored, covered in the refrigerator. It will retain freshness for 2-3 days before the romaine starts to wilt. For longer store or make-ahead instructions, store the base and the toppings separately.
