- 1 stick 1/2 c. salted butter
- 3/4 c. onion diced
- 3/4 c. red pepper diced
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. milk
- 4 c. chopped cooked chicken
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
- fresh parsley for garnish
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add diced onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Saute until tender-crisp.
Stir in flour and salt, cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Slowly add in the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens (8-12 minutes).
Stir in chicken.
Spoon over prepared biscuits; season with salt, pepper, and fresh parsley as desired.
