Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1 ounce pure pressed apple juice
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce apple simple syrup
  • 1 egg white optional
  • 1 ounce club soda

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add gin, apple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (optional).
  • Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds, until foamy.
  • Strain into a glass and top with club soda.

Notes

How to make apple simple syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 thinly sliced apple.
  2. Bring the mixture a boil, then remove it from the heat, cover it, and let it cool.
  3. Once cool, use it in cocktails or store it in the refrigerator for later.
