Strawberry-Basil Summer Sippers - with Keurig's Best K-Cup Flavors!

Ingredients

Strawberry-Basil Summer Sipper

  • 1 Strawberry-Pomegranate Vitamin Burst or Lemonade K-Cup brewed over ice
  • 1/4 c. lemon-basil simple syrup or more, to taste *recipe below
  • 6 fresh basil leaves torn
  • 6 strawberries sliced
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • *Feel free to add your preferred adult beverage!

Lemon-Basil Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. fresh basil leaves
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions

Strawberry-Basil Summer Sipper

  1. Brew K-Cup in a large plastic cup at desired setting.
  2. In two separate glasses, muddle 3 basil leaves and half of strawberry slices.
  3. Add 2 Tbsp. simple syrup, half of brewed K-cup, and your preferred adult beverage (optional).
  4. Top with additional ice.
  5. Garnish with lemon wedge.

Lemon-Basil Simple Syrup

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in basil leaves and lemon juice.
  3. Cool to room temperature.
