Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced Vidalia onion
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese
  • 2 cups mayo

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Mix well.
  • Spoon into an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  • Bake at 400° F for 30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Serve with crackers, rye chips, crostini, or veggies.

Notes

Recipe variations:
  • Add 1 -2 tablespoons of fresh minced herbs
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or a couple dashes of your favorite hot sauce
  • Add 1 tsp. mustard powder for extra flavor
  • Use a combination of Swiss & Parmesan cheeses
  • Add 1/2 pound cooked bacon
