Ingredients

cups
diced Vidalia onion
2
cups
Swiss cheese
2
cups
mayo
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Mix well.
Spoon into an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Bake at 400° F for 30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve with crackers, rye chips, crostini, or veggies.
Notes
Recipe variations:
Add 1 -2 tablespoons of fresh minced herbs
Add 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or a couple dashes of your favorite hot sauce
Add 1 tsp. mustard powder for extra flavor
Use a combination of Swiss & Parmesan cheeses
Add 1/2 pound cooked bacon
