Chocolate Covered Strawberry Galette

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 ½ c. sliced strawberries
  • ¼ c. granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 oz. milk or semisweet chocolate
  • powdered sugar


  1. Unroll pie crust and cut into fourths. Cut each fourth into a heart shape.
  2. Combine strawberries, sugar, and flour in a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Fill the center of each pie crust with strawberry mixture.
  4. Fold edges up, being sure to keep heart shape.
  5. Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  8. Melt chocolate in a shallow bowl; dip galettes in chocolate and return to parchment paper to dry.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
