Ingredients
1/2
cup
brut champagne
1/3
cup
orange juice
1/2
ounce
Cointreau liqueur
Instructions
Start with a chilled champagne flute. Tip the glass and slowly add the champagne, then the Cointreau, and finally the orange juice.
Top off with champagne as necessary.
Garnish your mimosa with an orange slice as desired.
Notes
Recipe variations
Omit the Cointreau and just use champagne and orange juice
Add a splash of any of your favorite liqueurs for a fun flavor twist
Substitute a sweeter champagne for the Brut champagne
Use any type of juice, such as pineapple, cranberry, peach, or apple
Blend it with ice for a frozen mimosa
