Hot Honey

Hot Honey takes your basic honey to the next level by infusing it with chili peppers! Made with just 3 simple ingredients, it's a deliciously versatile sauce or dip that adds a pop of sweet heat to any of your favorite foods!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 8-10 dried chili peppers
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Chop the chili peppers to expose the seeds.
  • Add honey and chopped peppers to a small saucepan. 
  • Bring the mixture to simmer over medium heat. Do not boil. Once simmering, reduce the heat slightly, cover, and simmer for about 30 minutes. Test the honey for flavor and heat and add more chiles if desired.
  • Once honey has reached desired flavor, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in vinegar.
  • Strain into a glass jar to remove the peppers and seeds. 
  • Cover and store at room temperature.
