Ingredients

  • 4 ounces vodka
  • 1 1/2 ounces coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce vanilla simple syrup recipe below
  • 2 ounces espresso
  • ice

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, simple syrup, and espresso.
  3. Shake vigorously, then strain into martini glasses.
  4. Spoon extra foam on top of each drink.
  5. Garnish each with 3 espresso beans.

Notes

Vanilla Simple Syrup Recipe

In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup water, and 1/2 Tablespoon vanilla extract. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Cool syrup and use according to recipe instructions. Leftover syrup can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
