Ingredients

flour
1
teaspoon
baking soda
1
teaspoon
salt
1
cup
unsalted butter
room temperature
1
cup
packed brown sugar
1/2
cup
sugar
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
2
large eggs
2
cups
chocolate chips
2-4
Tablespoons
espresso granules
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, cream butter, sugars, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually add in flour mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips and espresso granules.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto lightly greased baking sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
Notes
As a substitute for espresso granules, use dark roast instant coffee granules.
