Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce canned
  • 2 teaspoons adobo sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small food processor.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.

Notes

Recipe Variations

  • Use any proportion of mayo to sour cream
  • Substitute plain Greek yogurt for the sour cream
  • Add additional chipotle peppers for more intense flavor
  • Add dried chipotle chili pepper, cayenne pepper or crushed red pepper flakes
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey
  • Substitute garlic powder for fresh minced garlic
  • Substitute maple syrup or agave for the honey
