Blender Black Bean Soup w/Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 15 oz. cans black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 hatch pepper seeds removed, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion chopped
  • 1/3 c. cilantro chopped
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • El Yucateco Hot Sauce to taste

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in blender and blend to desired smoothness.
  • *Hot Sauce can either be added directly to blender OR added to individual bowls based on preference.
  • Pour blended soup into saucepan and heat through.
