Melt orange candy melts over low heat until smooth. Stir in orange extract.
Dip animal crackers into melted chocolate with a fork, tapping along the edge of the pan to remove excess chocolate.
Place on wax paper and sprinkle generously with nonpareils.
Air dry to set.
Repeat with white candy melts (or Candiquik). *Note: For more orange flavor, add 1/2 tsp. orange extract to the white chocolate, as well.
