One of the things I love most about being a mom is that you get to decide just how big or small you want your children’s world to be. You get to decide how many people they know and how many places they go and how many new experiences they have. The only problem is figuring out which size is just right….
I’m STILL trying to figure it out! Because part of me loves the idea of keeping it nice and small so we can focus on family and down time and togetherness. It sounds so simple and relaxing, doesn’t it? But then there’s the part of me that loves staying busy and seeing people and expanding our horizons….and for whatever reason, it seems like that part usually tends to win.
One of my favorite ways to expand our horizons? FOOD, of course! So I guess it’s no wonder that I have kids who like Indian and Japanese and Thai food. Perfect for potstickers or spring rolls or sushi….and so tasty, I might be tempted to put it on EVERYTHING! But what I love most about it is that my kids could put it on everything, too. Which makes them that much more likely to put it on something new and different. Which, as a mom, always feels good!
Creamy Ginger-Soy Dipping Sauce
- 1/2 c. mayo
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Serve with Ling Ling Asian Kitchen Potstickers or Spring Rolls.
