I don’t know about you, but one of the things I struggle most with in life is balance. Between work and home life, family and friends, exercise and laziness, generosity and self-preservation. It’s so much easier for me to put 110% into everything than it is to figure out how much of my attention things actually deserve… and give them only that much. I guess you could say I never really learned the concept of “good enough.”
As with all things, there are pros and cons to being a perfectionist. The pros? Well, I guess the biggest one is a sense of satisfaction in knowing that I gave it my best. Because if there’s one thing that’s true about me, it’s that I never want to feel like I coulda/woulda/shoulda done more. I want to do it all! And, of course, I want to do it all well…
… Which, as you might imagine, is actually the crux of the issue and the reason I struggle so much with balance. Because, like it or not, I only have 100% of myself to give. And as they say, there just aren’t enough hours in the day! Something’s gotta give… and in my case, it almost always ends up being sleep. I’m not sure why I’m so quick to sacrifice sleep time, but with 4 kids and too much on my plate, it often feels like the only option! Well. You can only deprive yourself of sleep for so long before you start to feel it. And let me tell you… I’m feeling it!
I’ve recently started to feel like it may be time for a change. And since I can’t totally commit to always going to sleep exactly when I should, I’ve started to think that maybe for me it’s about making my sleep count. So I’ve started taking vitafusion™ Melatonin at night… right around the time I’m enjoying my tea and finishing up my work for the night. I must say – it’s been an easy habit to adopt! Because vitafusion™ is rooted in the belief that healthy habits should be enjoyable. If they’re not, there’s no way you’ll keep up with them! These little vitamins have a great flavor, a gummy texture, and are completely chewable and easy to swallow without any water. Who knew making change could be so enjoyable?
So, for now, I’m relying on vitafusion™ to help me wake up feeling refreshed and rested.* And I’m thinking about checking out some of their other products, too! The makers of vitafusion™ and L’il Critters™ offer vitamins, minerals and other dietary supplements for every stage of life, and they’re all gluten-free and made with natural flavors.
